This afternoon, my sister and her family came over for dinner and to play our all time favorite card game--The Great Dalmuty.
My brother-in-law, Robeño is a huge tease, and at one point was doing the old--what's on your shirt trick.
You know the game--where you point to their shirt and say, "What's on your shirt?", and when they look down you bring your finger up and flip their chin or nose or whatever.
Well, Uncle Robeño caught Savvy looking down so many times--that she decided to deliver a little retribution.
{Of course, when you are the supreme teaser--you generally don't fall for others' attempts at teasing.}
Savvy just wouldn't give up. She tried that trick many times, yet always failed to catch her Uncle looking down.
As they were leaving, I noticed Savvy chasing Uncle Robeño around the family room. It had been going on for so long that I couldn't remember why she was even chasing him.
"Savvy, what are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm trying to flip off Uncle Robiño--cause he's been flipping me off all night," she answered.
And that's how we keep the Sabbath day holy at our house.
