Jay's braces are about 3 days old. They aren't the most comfortable things in the world - but we knew that. What we didn't know is the effect it would have on her lips. She's got massive cankers inside her mouth (which are eventually supposed to go away?). So, this morning, the poor thing looks in the mirror and being the dramatic child that she is - cries, "Oh no! Look at my lips they're so swollen! I look like a freak!" I looked at her and said, "Hey, there are women who pay good money for those kind of lips." (Of course, the almost $2000 we shelled out for these braces ain't chump change.)
