283. I have an unlucky purple flowered shirt that I refuse to wear--but I've kept it for luck (what if I D.I. it and then get a run of bad luck?).

285. I made a Mermaid costume for Jay when she was in kindergarten...then tried to force my tomboy Savvy to wear it when she was in kinder (didn't work out so well).
286. People think I'm a perfectionist when it comes to crafting...it's truly not that...I just set high expectations for myself that if something doesn't turn out...I just have to fix it (or throw it away).
287. I re-purposed a clock that I made in enrichment into a "clock table" with an old bar stool (Did I mention that I hated how the clock turned out? I tried repainting it twice and there was NO WAY I would hang it on the wall--but it sure makes a cute table).
288. I got engaged on my birthday (Jan 10) and was married 3 months later in the Manti Temple.
289. I find myself often thinking...why didn't I think of that?

A couple of years ago I made Jedi knight costumes for my twins to wear for Halloween...when they tried them on the robes were so big that my DH and I could've worn them. It took me 3 days to alter them down to kid size.
